Garden Consulting
This is an idea-generating and informational gathering about your home, school, or business garden or if you want to revamp the family farm. Learn tips on seeding saving, saving water, composting, and reusing materials to maintain your garden and learn about federal and state grants that you can receive for agricultural diversification and sustainability.
Also join us the 3rd Tuesday of the month for agricultural trainings and workshops with a regional group out of Rowan, Elliot, and Carter Counties.
School Gardens
Rolling Hills is currently working with the Greenup County School District in constructing two school gardens, one in an elementary school, and one at the high school. These gardens are the first-ever student-run gardens in our region.
Is your school considering a garden? If you need assistance, we can provide a school garden presentation and assist in planning and fundraising to make sure your garden is successful.
Community Gardens
The Youth Guild has created the first-ever Youth Garden in our region. The garden site is at the Flatwoods City Park.
If your neighborhood would like to start a community garden and you need help please contact us.
Our garden programs are made possible from a grant from the Foundation for the TriState Community.
